Designing the PhoenixLabs.ai Brand Style Guide
Creating the PhoenixLabs.ai Brand Style Guide was a pivotal step in defining a unified visual identity for the company and its suite of AI-powered products. This guide not only shaped the branding but also became the blueprint for designing the 95 screens of the back-end SaaS Firebird tool, ensuring consistency and professionalism across all user interfaces.
Using purple to signify AI has become so overdone that it now creates a generic ‘AI look,’ blurring distinctions between brands and limiting their unique identity. To stand out in a crowded market, we chose vibrant teal, blue, and orange—colors that reflect trust, innovation, and energy while breaking away from the predictable.
The Foundation
The centerpiece of PhoenixLabs.ai’s identity is the Phoenix-flame logo, which symbolizes transformation, energy, and innovation. With its sleek lines and dynamic teal, blue, and orange gradients, the logo conveys motion, warmth, and technological expertise. This design became the cornerstone for all branding extensions, from logos to digital products.
Product Logos
To extend the brand identity, we created unique yet cohesive logos for PhoenixLabs.ai’s flagship products:
- Firebird: The parent SaaS tool’s logo prominently features the phoenix-flame motif, representing power, agility, and leadership in AI innovation.
- Yona: A flame and gear design symbolizing a sophisticated AI scoring engine and analytics.
- Kea: A flame and an avatar icon to reflect the building and creation of avatars.
- Mynah: A flame with a play button, representing interactive video functionality.
Each logo was carefully crafted to share the same design language while reflecting the specific functionality of its product.
Typography and Colors
The typography and colors ensured clarity and cohesion:
- Typography: A modern, geometric sans-serif typeface for a clean, professional look.
- Color Palette:
- Teal and Blue: Represent intelligence, trust, and reliability.
- Orange and Yellow Gradients: Convey energy, transformation, and optimism.
Applications Across 95 SaaS Screens
The Brand Style Guide played a critical role in designing all 95 screens for the back-end SaaS Firebird tool. From dashboards to detailed user workflows, the guide ensured that every screen adhered to the brand’s visual language.
- UI Consistency: Fonts, colors, and iconography from the guide were used to create intuitive, visually cohesive screens.
- Flame-Inspired Elements: Subtle motifs from the phoenix-flame design were integrated into buttons, navigation bars, and charts, reinforcing the brand identity throughout the tool.
- User-Centered Design: The branding framework balanced aesthetics with functionality, ensuring the Firebird tool was both visually appealing and easy to use.
